NToddcast: The Book Meme
A 15 minute podcast on the so-called Book Meme, courtesy of NYMary and Rugo (and now Rory and LJ/Aquaria). Been a busy day rejoining the Macintosh universe (more on that later) and some professional obligations (working is for chumps!)...

[Update: should've linked to Candleblog, where I've called out Bill, flameape and Spine (and DanZ if he's not too busy) to do the meme...]
['nother update: forgot to post links for the music and the photog book I mentioned, so here:
- Intro - This Is The New Shit by Marilyn Manson, ripped from the Matrix Reloaded soundtrack.
- Background music - a selection of tracks ripped from Sacred Treasures II: Choral Masterworks from the Sistine Chapel.
- Interlude - Into The Lens by Yes, ripped from Drama
- Epilogue - 52 Girls by the B52s, ripped from their eponymous album.
- French Photographer Willy Ronis - La Vie En Passant
Enjoy!]

You made the wise choice, re: the Mac Universe.
Now, about putting my book meme command to you parenthetically...

And that's not an appropriate response, btw.

I'm sorry, Mistress...

Stranger in a Strange Land, Dune, LotR... you are SUCH a nerd! I'll post my response in the comments of your cblog post.

Me? A nerd?

You can't be a nerd, the music at the beginning of your podcast terrified my mother; she spilled her coffee. I think she is ready to go home where my father surfs the net in a seperate room.

Oops, sorry. Maybe I should post warnings when I use Marilyn Manson for an intro...

Sooooo..... Is there anyway to get this podcasting software for less than $150? Assuming I'm willing to be intrepid, natch.

Could you post the name of the photographer you mention? I couldn't figure out the spelling from hearing it...

NYMary - not sure if I can send you the stuff I'm using so you can "try" it (their trial version blows, so you should evaluate it with the full version). Software vendors are all tricksy with their protection schemes. Regardless, I'm sure there's other stuff out there--I was simply operating in my instant gratification mode and wanted to start podcast right then and there.
rorshach - oh, duh! I was going to do that and post the playlist and totally forgot. Will update the post soon...

NYMary, I sent you an e-mail about Audacity, which I'm now using on the Mac...
