Not Insomnia
I went to bed early tonight and am now wide awake because Sam finally came home. Loudly. So let's see...anything interesting in the news?
- A male detective was killed with his own gun. I'm sure Michelle Malkin will be all over this one like white on rice.
- Jeebus, has it really been 10 years since OKC? Funny how a strange union of Republicans and Socialists resisted Clinton's efforts to strengthen law enforcement powers in the wake of the tragedy.
- Boyish scoundrel Ralph Reed apparently has ties to Jack Abramoff. Who knew? If only somebody could help the NYTimes connect the dots.
Okay, back to bed.

Ahh so I'm not the only one with a distaste for Ms. Malkin. She's a darker version of Ann Coulter.
It seems like OKC was only yesterday.
Didn't I read somewhere that Mr Abramoff has some pretty close connections to DeLay?

I'd heard something about the 'tec killed with his own gun. I have to say I'm surprised this doesn't happen more often, considering that the last grafs of the article mention that it is routine for interviewing (though not questioning) to take place with detectives who are still armed.
Oklahoma City - I do vaguely remember that, but as far as I was concerned it was a good while ago. Still, I've no doubt that it's traumatic to all who were affected, and the whole Eric Rudolph affair must've stirred up some unpleasant memories too.

That brings to mind the John Quiz.
