Loser No More

Ah...the sweet, sweet smell of victory. 

Yes, I might have been replaced as Hunk of the Week by a dead guy.  Sure, I might have been beaten in the Koufax Awards by a terrorist and a dude who uses a pseudonym to gain access to the White House.  But you're looking at the Best Photoblogger in the Entire Known Universe, and that is a distinction that nobody--NOBODY--can ever take away from me.

So now I need suggestions on how I can leverage my shiny new Perranoski Prize to make googobs of money.  I wonder if Nikon needs somebody to endorse their products...

Anyway, you should check out all the blogs that were nominated--there are a lot of talented folks out there on the Left and Right, and all the sites that participated deserve your patronage.  Congratulations to the other winners, particularly that cryptofascist, Norbizness.  And thanks so much to Kevin Hayden for hosting the awards and spreading the wealth, as it were.

PS--Kevin stayed up pretty much all night writing the announcement and has only posted 5 of the winners thus far.  The other 4 categories will be up after he gets a bit of shut-eye.  In the meantime, you might consider throwing some loose change at The American Street (click on the flag):
