OOoooo Sam is doing the Vulcancat mind meld! "Open the door immediately before my fuzzy butt freezes!"
I have this urge to open a door....

OT and because this is the only place I can brag, just picked a navel orange off my tree that weighs one and a quarter pounds. Should I be pleased or afraid?

Another sign of global warming?...or Yushchenko's victory? orange and pocked, get it? nudge nudge Ok ok!! I'm leaving! You don't have to throw things...sheesh!

I suppose you could get a cat door; they make them insulated so that they don't leak air or let the heat out. But then Sam would not be able to make you do his bidding, and what then would be the point?

To a dog, you're family. To a cat, you're staff.

I had to extricate a dog from a cat door. The cat baited the dog into chasing her and then dashed through the door.

The dog's collar got caught in the door hinges and it ended with having to get a muzzle on the dog so I could cut off the collar and then dissemble the door so we could get the dog's head free. It also meant a vet visit for minor scratches.

If Sam really wanted in he could find a rock.

Awww. That is fluffy. I wonder if you could compile pics of Sam to illustrate T.S. Eliot's "The Rum Tum Tugger" from "Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats"?
