Hot July
It's Fahrenheit 83 here in my neck of the woods, and it's Fahrenheit 9/11 all around the country, according to Gallup:
According to the most recent Gallup survey, more than half of all American adults (56%) either have seen or expect, at some time, to see Michael Moore's controversial movie, Fahrenheit 9/11, a highly critical look at the Bush administration's decision to fight a war in Iraq. The poll was conducted July 8-11. At the time, 8% of Americans said they have already seen the movie, 18% expected to see it in the theater, and 30% expected to watch the video. Among all Americans, more people have an unfavorable than favorable impression of the movie, but those who have seen it are overwhelmingly favorable.
Moore's counter-narrative has taken in a total of $110M worldwide thus far. No wonder the Bushies are trying desperately to smear Wilson, Berger and Kerry. Things are heating up!

Didja ever notice that the criticism of F911 by the rightwing talking heads were fairly vague and almost universally ignored? All I heard was stuff like "99% of it is lies!" No explanation. No examples.
Maybe cuz they got nothin'! Bush is going down, bitches!

It's Fahrenheit 83 here in my neck of the woods...
Oh, my heart goes out to you, NTodd. People are literally dying in the heat here... three so far in Harris County this season... and it's not even the hottest point in the year yet; the "100/100" days (100°F and 100% humidity) are yet to come. Still, even here, it's nothing like what people in Iraq are experiencing.
I'm glad F9/11 is doing so well. I'm even glad Moore will probably get rich(er) off of it; he's given us all something we really need. Meanwhile, Bush's public statement on the Berger matter makes me think the administration must be deeply desperate... usually, a president (or even a preznit) doesn't soil his own hands with this sort of stuff. Maybe I can finally dare to hope. Excuse me while I wipe away the saliva...

Moore ran with the idea the media ignored. He is a true patriot , Paine reborn.
However his candor and glib over the top style on other topics is what polarizes perception of him.
How long before this polarized chickenhawk fervor comes home to roost?
The So Called Lousy Media is due its outing. And the McMellon excuse for press conferences, the Bush appearances, and even the State Dept.'s most plausably accepted addistant all have more damage to control directly related to their jobs than can be contained.McClellan basically admitted to discussing the WMD and 9-11 issues at previous times before being reminded to STFU and stonewall. Give him a RICO charge as a conspirator.
Chopping wood to put out wildfires, pissing on raging torrents of press substance, Bush has reinforced the Republiclown's own notion that containment fails, albeit for their own damage control. Evidence that containment works exists fully elsewhere...

It was Celsius 27 in Amsterdam yesterday. So I went to a movie premiere. That movie.
The snippet about the Netherlands got a BIG laugh, as you might imagine.
